Examination of leadership characteristics of physical education and sports school and education faculty students in terms of some variables

The aim of this research is to determine the opinions of Bartın University School of Education and the Faculty of Education on leadership attitudes and to make suggestions based on the results of the research. Within the scope of this aim, it has been tried to determine the leadership qualities by taking into consideration variables such as department, gender, age which are read by the students of BESYO and the Faculty of Education who have received sports education. The sample of the study is composed of 250 students studying at Bartın University School of BESYO and Faculty of Education. Students participating in the research were selected randomly. Sampling inclusion criteria; volunteering to participate in the research, becoming an active student and being engaged in any individual or team sport. There was no significant difference between gender variables and leadership scores. Again, there was no significant difference between the leadership scores according to the departments. There was a significant difference between the leadership scores of Besyo and the Faculty of Education students. The result is that the Faculty of Education has a higher score than the leader's score.
