Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the self-efficacy levels of physical education and sports teachers regarding technology use. The sample of the research consists of 442 physical education and sports teachers working in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in Antalya. Individuals participating in the research were selected by random method. As a data collection tool in the research; The "Self-Efficacy Teacher Evaluation Form for the Use of Information Technologies in Education" created by Deniz and Algan (2013) and the "Personal Information Form" questioning the demographic characteristics were used. SPSS 21 IBM statistical package program was used to evaluate the data obtained. For the calculation of the data, each The average of the sub-dimension and the total score of the scale were taken. All comparative statistics were made on these scores. The Shapiro-Wilk test was used to analyze whether the data showed normal distribution. System Knowledge Self-efficacy sub-dimension mean, Basic Skills Self-efficacy sub-dimension mean, Spreadsheet-Based Classroom Management sub-dimension mean, Technology-Based Educational Activities Organization sub-dimension mean and Scale Total score do not have normal distribution values. (p<0.05). However, when the kurtosis and skewness coefficients of these sub-dimensions are examined, it is seen that the kurtosis and skewness coefficients are between +1 and -1 values. According to Jondeau and Rockinger (2008), when the skewness and kurtosis coefficients of the sub-dimensions vary between +3 and -3, these sub-dimensions meet the conditions of normal distribution parameters, and since no significant deviation is observed in the drawn histogram graphs, indicated that the data in this sub-dimensions are normally distributed. In this context, Independent samples T-Test and One Way Anova tests, which are parametric tests, were preferred in the analysis of the data. The significance level of the findings was based on p<0.05. As a result of the findings obtained according to the gender variable, it was determined that there was a significant difference in all sub-dimensions in favor of male physical education teachers compared to female physical education teachers. Considering the age variable, it was observed that as the age group of physical education teachers increased, their self-efficacy levels decreased. In all sub-dimensions, the 20-30 age group has significantly higher self-efficacy than all other groups. When teachers' self-efficacy is examined according to the professional year variable, it is seen that self-efficacy levels decrease as professional years increase. Considering the department or faculty variable from which they graduated, it was observed that those who graduated from BESYO or the Faculty of Sports had a significantly higher self-efficacy level in all dimensions than teachers who graduated from other departments by changing their field and later became physical education teachers. Finally, when the analysis was made according to the variable of whether physical education teachers have a computer with internet, it was determined that there was a significant difference in favor of teachers who had a computer with internet. As a result of the research, in-service training appropriate to its content and target audience can be planned to reduce differences such as gender and age in order to eliminate the deficiencies. Based on the results of this research and many other studies, it is recommended that the content of the in-service training needed, starting with older teachers, be planned by taking into account tesachers' self-efficacy beliefs.
