İnvestigation of physical education and sports teachers' relations between leadership order, self-efficiency and psychological strength

This research was carried out with the aim of examining the relationships between the leadership, self-efficacy and psychological well-being levels of physical education and sports teachers. In this context, a consistent relational screening model was used for the purpose of the quantitatively conducted study. The research group consisted of 82 women and 162 men and a total of 244 physical education and sports teachers. In the selection of this research group, easy sampling method was used. A survey form was used as a data collection tool and this form consists of four parts. The first part of this survey form is "Personal Information Form", the second part is "Multi-Directional Leadership Orientations Psychological Scale", the third part is the "Self-Effectivity-Efficacy Scale" and the fourth section is. The raw data obtained through this form was first calculated by identifying statistics with the data type in mind. Differences, correlations and regression analyses were performed in the research. Accordingly, according to the gender, marital status, school level and active sports status of the participants, no significant differences in leadership orientation were determined. However, a significant relationship was found between the participants' personal income level variable and their leadership orientation. On the other hand, no significant relationship was identified between the age, service year and family income level variables and leadership orientations of the participants. In addition, significant differences in gender variability were found in the context of the participants' self-efficacy and psychological well-being. However, according to the marital status, school level and active sports status variables of the participants, no significant differences in their self-efficacy and psychological well-being were identified. However, a significant relationship was found between the family income level variable of the participants and their self-efficacy. On the other hand, no significant relationship was identified between the age, service year and personal income level variables and self-efficacy-efficiencies of the participants. In addition, no significant relationship was found between the age, service year, personal income level and family income level variables and psychological well-being of the participants. However, the effect of self-efficacy on psychological soundness is positive and meaningful and it can be stated that the levels of psychological soundness are also increased as the self-efficacy-efficacy levels of the participants increase. As a result, it was determined that the effects of the participants' levels of self-efficacy and psychological soundness on leadership orientations were positive and meaningful. In this direction, it can be argued that as the level of self-efficacy and psychological soundness of the participants increases, their leadership orientation also increases.
