Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between the leisure satisfaction and self-efficacy beliefs of physical education and sports teachers working in the province of Van, according to some demographic variables. The universe of the research consists of 618 physical education and sports teachers working in Van in the 2020-2021 academic year. The sample group of the research consists of 337 physical education and sports teachers working in schools in the province of Van affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, which was selected by random sampling method. In the research, "Personal Information Form", "Leisure Satisfaction Scale", "Teacher Self-efficacy Scale" was used as data collection tools. Frequency, percentage, Pearson Correlation, t-Test and ANOVA tests were applied in the analysis of the data and to determine the direction of significant difference TUKEY test was performed. In the findings of the study, no significant difference was found in the total mean scores of SCI and SSS according to the gender variable of physical education and sports teachers. A significant difference was found in the sub-dimensions of "Aesthetics" of the leisure satisfaction scale and in "Using Instructional Strategy" of the teacher self-efficacy scale according to the gender variable. Regarding to the marital status variable, while there was no significant difference in terms of leisure satisfaction and teacher self-efficacy scale, a significant difference was found in the "Aesthetic" dimension, one of the sub-dimensions of the leisure satisfaction scale. It is detected that single participants have a higher level of "Aesthetic" satisfaction. According to the variable of having a child, there was no significant difference in the mean scores of the leisure satisfaction and teacher self-efficacy scales. A significant difference was found in favor of those who do not have children in the "Aesthetics" dimension, one of the sub-dimensions of the leisure satisfaction scale. No significant difference was found between leisure satisfaction and teacher self-efficacy scale regarding the educational status of the participants. However, it is seen that the increase in the education level negatively affects the self-efficacy total score and sub-dimension averages of physical education and sports teachers. A significant difference was found in the overall and sub-dimensions of the leisure satisfaction and teacher self-efficacy scale for the participants' regular exercise status and weekly sports frequency variable. As a result, a moderate positive relationship was found between the leisure satisfaction and teacher self-efficacy beliefs of physical education and sports teachers. Therefore, it can be stated that as the leisure time satisfaction levels of physical education and sports teachers increase, their self-efficacy beliefs will also increase. In addition, regular exercise has a positive effect on leisure satisfaction and self-efficacy beliefs. In addition, it is seen that regular exercise affects leisure satisfaction and self-efficacy belief positively, while excessive exercise on the weekly sports day affects psychological and relaxation satisfaction levels negatively.
