Abstract (EN)
In this study, general self-efficacy levels of students of Physical Education and Sports College and other faculties were examined. The sample group of the study consisted of 800 randomly selected volunteers. In order to measure the variables of the study, General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE) and personal information form were used. At the end of the study, general self-efficacy scores were not found to be significant according to gender. The general self-efficacy score of the students studying at the physical education and sports college and other faculties was found to be significantly higher in favor of the age group 21-22. General self-efficacy total and sub-dimension scores of the students studying in physical education and sports college were found to be statistically significant compared to the students studying in other faculties (Education, Arts-Science, Engineering). Similarly, the overall self-efficacy total and sub-dimension scores of the sample group were found to be significant in favor of Grade 4 students. In terms of class variable, general self-efficacy scores of physical education teacher, which is one of the departments of physical education sports school, were found to be significantly higher than the other departments.
