Body and power: The reviewal of radical feminism's point of view about sexuality

Abstract (EN)

While trying to make sense of the relationship between body and power with the emphasis of feminist theory, the research aimed to reveal the philosophical and psychological infrastructures of domination on the body. When forming the basis of this emphasis, coworking principles of mind and body were utilized; the interpretation of radical feminism, which is one of the feminist movements, on the female body and sexuality, and the libertarian views expressed against the views of radical feminism, are examined and it was has thought about how the female class can have control of their own body. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to the feminist struggle in this context and try to prevent internalizing otherness to the woman who is identified as "Other". In accordance with this purpose, what should be fought to ensure that women's bodies and sexuality are under the control of only women, and what issues radical feminism might have been mistaken in this context are the subjects discussed in the research.
