Abstract (EN)

As a social being, human beings appear on the stage of society with the body, and social relations become reality with the presentation of human bodies to the society. Today, the healthy body is based on cultural and social factors rather than medical-biological factors. Due to all these external factors, it is seen that there has been an excessive tendency towards aesthetic medicine and aesthetic procedures in recent years. With the medical cosmetic procedures for aesthetic purposes, intercultural differences have decreased considerably, and the perception of beauty, youth and health has changed on a global scale. This change has changed the approach to the body. In this study, with the concern that aging has become an area open to individual and social interventions in the control of aging, why there is a need for medical interventions for aesthetic purposes without a physiological basis, what the expectations are, whether the anti-aging discourses of the beauty industry and the healthy life recommendations surrounding it make a difference in the status of individuals, In the body, which is reconstructed with the values of youth and beauty, it is aimed to evaluate the body-subject-society-medicine-youth-beauty and embodiment relations with individual, social and ethical aspects.
