Abstract (EN)

The whole of the written and verbal performances that the society has carried from past to present is included in the concept of culture, and the most important feature that clearly distinguishes the relevant society from other societies finds its counterpart in the related concept. The identification of what belongs to the culture, the recording of the identified items are of great importance in the transmission of the tradition to the future, and the most important feature that makes culture-centered studies important arises from the aforementioned approach. In this direction, Behçet Necatigil, who wrote radio plays as well as his poet identity, succeeded in displaying an attitude worthy of his intellectual identity by frequently including various uses related to Anatolian culture in almost all of his works. Necatigil, who is observed to frequently include the usages of idioms, proverbs, nursery rhymes, folk songs from eating and drinking culture, transition periods, tales, legends, folk tales, in his works, is shaped around the aim of determining and evaluating the aforementioned uses in his radio plays. In our study, the life, art and works of the author are also included. Keywords: Behçet Necatigil, Folk Culture, Folk Literature, Radio Play.
