Citizen satisfaction with municipal services delivery infrastructure: The case of the Municipality of Anamur

Delivery of infrastructure services, which is of one of the basic services of the local government units, and citizen satisfaction is considered as subjects in this study. In the study, citizen satisfaction infrastructure services of medium and small scaled municipalities has been evaluated. As an example of governance Anamur Municipality, who is registered in small scale municipality group, has been selected. Anamur district from the infrastructure provided by the Municipality of Anamur has been attempted to be measured in this assay. In order to determine the satisfaction of the citizens who benefit from the services of Anamur Municipality, 392 citizensurveyscarriedoutandtheobtaineddatawereinterpretedusingthe SPSS 22.0 software package applications. In determining citizen satisfaction; the frequency and factor analysis, to test the hypothesizes, t-test and ANOVA analyzes were performed. As a result of this study, necessary suggestions about basic services provided by the Anamur Municipality has been made.
