Investigation on the personal characteristics of field qualifications of accounting and finance teachers according to five factor personality and an application

With the assumption that people are different from each other, variables such as culture, hereditary factors, environment, tradition and life which people lead influence their characteristics and differ them from each other. This also causes people to react differently to the situations they face. The five factors of this research are personality dimensions according to personality theory. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of accounting and finance teachers who have different characteristics and working conditions in different cultures based on the field qualifications, introversion, extroversion, experiential openness, responsibility and emotional balance. A questionnaire consisting of 87 questions and a questionnaire prepared by the Ministry of National Education based on the special field qualifications determined by the Accounting and Finance Teachers. A 40-question, five-factor personality test developed by Dr. Hasan BACANLI was used to collect data from 195 field teachers working in Vocational Technical Anatolian High Schools in Ankara, Eskişehir and Kütahya provinces and. The past research showed that individuals with high dimensions of personality are more successful than others in their respective fields, it can be thought that more efficient work division can be made by revealing which field should be given to what type of individuals with regards to personality characteristics on a broader scale.
