Abstract (EN)

In these days, human being life becomes different with the influences, which are especially experienced from globalism tendency, not only individually but also socially. ?Information economy? concept is getting acceptance through increasingly developed technology and communication possibilities. However, we have been living in a most competitive environment that haven?t experienced in any time of period. ?Human being? is the key point in this competitive environment. In our working areas, this competitive is being appear as demands and insufficiencies; and, we don?t try to move these affects from our lives on the other hand we are being aware of more than every thing. While those different changes are being held in our working places, ?Mobbing? a new concept is being distinguished by all staff. Mobbing is a new violence type and threatens both organizations and staff.In this study, clarifying this violence type and monitoring the relationship between this violence and personality, which has been accepted as one of the root reasons of that kind of violence, are the main objectives. This study is comprised of three different phases. In the first phase; mobbing concept, developing of this concept and the reasons are being detailed. In the second phase; personality concept and five personality factor models are being clarified. Finally, in the last phase mobbing concept is investigated with five different personality factor models. A query was prepared on the subject concepts and a site survey was performed in three different health organizations, in Eskişehir center, with 300 participant personnel. When query results are gathered, correlation test, t test and multiple regression analysis are implemented by using those obtained data. The results of applied statistical analysis are verified the relationship between mobbing and personality as brought forward with investigation hypothesis.
