Abstract (EN)
The need for reinforcement arises since majority of the buildings in the building stock in our country lacks adequate earthquake safety. Use of chemical anchorage is required for having harmonious operation of existing ferroconcrete and new components. Chemical anchorages placed afterwards for repair and reinforcement of existing ferroconcrete components are exposed to axial tension, bending and cutting under external loads. Therefore, determining the mechanical properties of chemical anchorages under impacts like axial tension, bending and cutting is of importance in terms of assessing its behavior in a system. Three different thesis studies were prepared to investigate these impacts separately. This thesis study includes studies in a subchapter titled ?bending impacts? of a study group organized for detailed investigation chemical anchorages. In the thesis study, the mechanical properties of chemical anchorages under bending impact were determined and compared to that of anchorages described as mechanical joints located during cementation. Based on the results obtained, it was observed that chemical anchorages yield more effective behavior provided that they are used in adequate diameter and length.
