Abstract (EN)
The Beypazarı Intrusion is located in the central part of the Sakarya Zone, approximately 60 km west of Ankara, and has been studied by many researchers. The Beypazarı intrusives are of Late Cretaceous age and exhibit I-type characteristics, ranging from granite to granodiorite, with a relatively homogeneous mineralogical composition. The Beypazarı Granitoid, which is associated with collision-related post-collisional magmatism, has been systematically sampled during fieldwork to understand the ore formation process within the magma reservoir. During fieldwork, the mineralogical composition of the intrusives mainly consisted of quartz, feldspar, amphibole, and abundant orthoclase, indicating predominantly felsic characteristics. Additionally, mafic dyke systems cutting through these intrusive masses were observed. Furthermore, relatively widespread weathering and the formation of lead crystals were detected in the intrusive masses. Based on field observations, mineral associations such as supergene-developed limonite, hematite, and malachite were also identified. Based on these studies conducted on the Beypazarı Intrusion, taking into account other studies in the literature, the intrusion exhibits a compositional variation of diorite, quartz-diorite, and quartz-monzonite based on geochemical samples aimed at understanding the geological processes and geodynamic relationship of the intrusion. The majority of the samples are dominantly subalkaline, while some belong to the high-potassium calc-alkaline series. All rock samples show distinct trends of increase and decrease in Harker diagrams. These pronounced trends associated with major oxides and silica indicate the presence of fractional crystallization within the magma chamber. It is possible to discuss the presence of a metal input and/or hydrothermal activity within the magma reservoir during the emplacement period of the Beypazarı Intrusion..
