Abstract (EN)
In this study, the structural and mechanical properties of new superconducting systems produced by doping TiB2 at varying ratios (x=0.00, 0.01, 0.03, 0.05) into the Bi-2212 inorganic superconducting crystal system given in the chemical form Bi2.1Sr2.0Ca1.1Cu2.0Oy are investigated. The structural analysis of all the samples is carried out by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) measurements while the mechanical properties are determined by Vickers microhardness analysis. X-ray diffraction measurements revealed that the Bi-2212 phase ratio is dominant in all samples compared to other phases. In addition, all lattice parameters obtained for all samples are observed to be in agreement with the lattice parameters of the Bi-2212 matrix. In addition, parameters important for industrial applications such as E, Y, KIC, C11, B, and D of all samples are calculated by experimental microhardness measurements. Moreover, the experimental Vickers microhardness measurements are analyzed using Meyer's law, Proportional Specimen Resistance (PSR) model, Elastic/Plastic Deformation (EPD) model, Hays-Kendall (HK) model, and Indentation-Induced Cracking (IIC) approach and the load-independent microhardness values are determined using these theoretical approaches. According to the data obtained, it is determined that all samples show the Reverse Indentation Size Effect (RISE) behavior and the IIC approach is the most suitable model to determine the microhardness properties of the produced materials.
