Abstract (EN)

This study consists of five chapters. In the first part, the basic definitions, theorems and the date of the work were given. In the second part, the concept of statistical convergence is explained with examples in order to better understand the concept of ideal convergence. Materials and methods used in the third chapter are given. In the fourth chapter, the relation between ideal and filter concepts is explained. The concept of ideal convergence of real number sequences is examined and necessary definitions and theorems are given. The concept of ideal convergence in any metric space has been studied briefly. The concepts of 𝐼−limit ve 𝐼−cluster points are briefly explained. Convergence areas of ideal convergence have been studied. In the fifth section, the conclusions and recommendations are given. In the conclusion section, statistical and ideal convergence concepts for bilateral sequences were examined. Statistical and ideal convergence of bilateral sequences was suggested.
