Throughout the history of humankind, Anatolia has been home to many different civilisations. It shows tremendous diversity and continuity in terms of cultural heritage. It is important to remember that the universal culture that Anatolia holds is a rich heritage for all of today's societies. In this study, we propose a new cultural heritage management tool for archaeological sites. Subjects considered are particularly on how to use the archaeological sites more efficiently, for their preservation for educational, scientific and touristic purposes. Furthermore, how the archaeological sites can be sustainable by implementing archeopark and urban memory concepts, thus, transferring the cultural heritage to the next generations were discused. During this thesis study, we investigated the current state of Hamsu valley and the archaeological area in the valley. Following the subjects of this thesis, we discus the evaluation of the valley within the framework of the current law. Furthermore, the potential benefits of the proposed project for the Hamsu valley, as a result of the combination of several factors such as archaeological, cultural, religious and touristic elements, were also discused. Without any doubt, it is esential to make arrangements for the preservation of the remainings both uncovered as a result of scientific excavations and partially pre-exposed in the sites to ensure the continuity of the transfer of cultural asets which we consider as universal cultural heritage to the future generations. In particular, protection of the areas that are damaged, with the selection and implementation of appropriate protection methods is necesary for organising the site for visitors and transferring them to the future generations.
