Abstract (EN)

With the rise of the information society, many changes have occurred in the working life. The most important of these changes is the flexibility of work and working life. The diversification of flexible working styles with the changes over time brought some problems in working life. Completing the works in short, temporary or daily periods causes employees to face risks in an insecure working life. The aim of this thesis is to examine the development of the information society in a theoretical framework and to examine its interaction with flexible working in the light of current developments. In this way, explanations about the information society and flexible working are made and the qualities of new current forms of flexible working are analyzed in the axis of the Fourth Industrial Revolution discussions. Finally, the digital possibilities offered by the new industrial revolution takes the form of more flexible, more independent, and at the same time more insecure.
