Abstract (EN)
Vİ ABSTRACT Embracing the quality of information society is one of the most important challenges that today's societies facing. Information society is a knowledge- and technology-based social and economic phase where information is considered as basic production factor, majority of the workers are in the information sector, and lifelong learning is inevitable. Individual of the information society adapts himselfTherself to technological developments, creates values for customers, provides innoviative ideas, takes risks, continuously develops products and processes, and establishes strategic comptetition policies. Whatever type, education level, profession or status of a human being required by the information society, member of the information society is an individual having lifelong learning habit and paying attention to self-development. Therefore, economic value of physical manpower is decreasing in the information society, whereas economic value of intellectual power is increasing significantly. Along with the increase of intellectual labour in the information society, enterpreneurship has also gained much importance in the society. In paralel, commercialization of the information produced is of importance through putting it into the production process and have its impact on welfare of the countries. This emphasizes the existence of enterpreneurs who will realize this function. One of the most important elements of the information society is enterpreneurs who embrace the importance and value of information, benefit from information technologies, aim at sharing and effective utilization of information among enterprises and countries. Consequently, it is vital to determine the profile of enterpreneurship in the information society.
