Determining with technology acceptance model the tendencies of the information specialists towards utilization of the information technologies

The rapid growth of the information technology and the growth of the user population, as well as in almost every sector of information centers from traditional methods. Information centers that are renewing themselves in parallel with changing user expectations add many the information technology in terms of software and hardware, go out of physical places and serve in digital environment. The aim of this study is to examine the acceptability of information technologies used in university libraries by information specialists with Technology Acceptance Model and to produce a roadmap for more effective use of these technologies. Research states in Turkey and foundations were made for serving according to the university research library. The research universe covered 1417 information specialist working in these libraries. The research sample consist of 300 participants who randomly selected from the universe. Technology Acceptance Model were used to determine the attitudes and behaviours of the participant towards information technology. The collected data through surveys was performed in SPSS 25 and AMOS 24.0.0 software package for calculate the statistics. Descriptive statistics were used to determine the characteristics of the participants. Regression analysis was performed to test the research hypotheses after conducting the normality test, reliability analysis and validity analysis. As a result of the analysis; research hypotheses were supported and positive a relationship was found between variables in the model, on the other hand the positive direction and strong effect of the perceived usefulness on attitude and behavioral intention variables was prominent.
