Analyzing of expert opinions on computer-aided music production

The rapid change in technological developments that affect our lives has led to the evolution of music. Music-related innovations in today's age are mostly related to computer-aided music production. The use of new recording techniques and especially the introduction of new instruments have emerged with technological developments. The inventions in communication technology started with the studies on recording sound in the 19th century, the first recordings were made on the "Phonograph", which has the principle of working with a cylinder, and the "Gramophone", which works with a thin round stone record. With the establishment of radio stations, important tools such as tape, cassettes, synthesizers have emerged for the music industry. Today, technological developments have taken their final form with electronic devices that contain huge studios in computers. In line with technological developments, it has become possible to produce music by using a virtual studio, digital signal processors and virtual instruments with the support of the computer. The aim of the research is to determine the expert opinions on the use of music technologies today. Within the framework of this purpose, the place, importance and advantages of computer-aided music production today were examined by consulting experts. A semi-structured interview form, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was prepared and prepared by the researcher in an online form ready for application and applied to the participants online using Google Forms. In line with the information obtained in the study, it has been determined that the participants' use the music production due to advantages such as ease of use, being more financially accessible and saving physical space. In addition, opinions about its use have been reported for reasons such as destroying the instant feeling and distracting from creativity.
