Comparisons of school achievements levels of students who attend science and art center with high intelligence ability with their peers.

The aim of this study is to determine the relation between joining of the general mental skilledstudents to the Science and Art Center and it?s effects on the school success. In this study, Insteadof investigating all the students who attending the Science and Art Center, school success of thestudents enrolled the Center because of mental skill has been compared with school success of thestudents couldn?t enroll the Science and Art Center but passed the group test. The population of theresearch comprises 25 Science and Art Centers in Turkey and it samples the general mental skilledstudents who are attending Usak and zmir Science and Art Centers and the students passed thegroup test but didn?t deserve to enroll the Science and Art Centers.For this comparison, , the results of leveling exams arranged by city managements of NationalEducation and end-term marks of the students have been taken into consideration and statisticalcalculations have been made.In consequence of the research, it hasn?t been seen any meaningful difference between thestudents attending the Science and Art Center and their peer groups who not attending the Center inrelation to school success.
