Abstract (EN)

The verses of the Qur'an form a meaningful unity, and most of the time, the verses comment each other, making it easier to understand the Qur'an. In order to understand the Qur'an correctly, it is vital to understand the contents of the verses correctly. It is necessary to approach the Qur'an from a holistic perspective. Those who apply scientific commentary to the verses of the Qur'an primarily bring their evidence from the Qur'an. Al-An'am 6/38,Al-An'am 6/59, and An-Nahl 16/89,Al-Kahf 18/109,Yusuf 12/111 and Luqmaan 31/27 are verses, which are applied by those who provide evidencefrom the Qur'an for the possibility of scientific commentary. We questioned the possibility of these verses being a source for the scientific commentary method. Our work consists of two parts. In the first chapter, basic information about scientific commentary is given and the conceptual framework of scientific commentary is drawn. In the second part, the verses put forward by those who consider itpossible to apply scientific commentary to the Qur'an are examined. The relevant verses wereevaluated by using classical and modern commentary. When we comment it on the axis of commentary, it has been determined that the verses have serious problems in being a source forscientific commentary. The study was completed by discussing the problem of the aforementioned verses being evidence for scientific commentary, and mentioning the data obtained in the conclusion section.
