Use of the analytical hiyerarchy process in the investment decission of companies operating in the informatics sector

An important decision point faced by companies operating in the IT sector is the selection of appropriate computer hardware and software. This choice is directly a critical factor in the difference in ranges and markets. The decision-making process, management informatics results, especially the use of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) are of great importance. AHP is an effective method used in decision making based on various parameters and allows a detailed combination between different computer models and details. This process is often based on various performance ranges such as cost, warranty and service options, technological compatibility, and user characteristics. In the study, initial needs are determined so that they are well met. In this degradation, hardware performance, cost effectiveness, ease of use, system compatibility, expandability, warranty and technical support services are at the forefront. Various computer brands and models on the market are listed according to these markets, and each model is evaluated on this basis. This evaluation process involves a detailed analysis of the stored portions of a computer alternative, and this analysis is created using AHP strategies. This comparative analysis revealed how each computer model performed according to its different variables, thus the total score of each model was calculated. As a result of the analysis, the computer model with the highest total score emerged as the brand name and appropriate choice. The results obtained in this way are ensured to provide various contributions to the companies that invest heavily in the IT sector.
