Preparation of occupational standards and qualification building electrician (Level 4)

In this thesis, for the construction industry called ?Building Electrician (Level 4)? occupational standards and qualification are determined.During the preparation of the thesis, literature and labor market ınvestıgatıons are done. Within the scope of literature study, the importance of occupational standards and qualification of the European Union within the framework of trends in the size of the labor market by explaining the work done in our country are examined. Scope of operation of the labor market, between 3-17 August 2010 dates, ?Personal Information Form?, ?Occupational Description Form? and ?Vocational Skill Form? surveys were conducted by applying the occupational analysis by labourer who work as a electrician in the town of Orhangazi. In light of obtained data the occupational standards and qualification are prepeared. In additon, to gain a occupational standards and functional competence qualification a variety of recommendations are presented.I wish,this thesis to be useful for the preparation process of national accupational standards (NAS) and national vocational qualifications (NVQ) and the ınvestıgatıons who are interested in this field.
