Özet (EN)

In this study, essential oils of some Achillea (Asteraceae) taxa, naturally grown in Bingol province were analyzed and evaluated phytochemically. The essential oil composition of Achillea samples obtained by hydro-distillation were analyzed by GC-FID-MS. Oil yields of plants in 100 gr dry sample were determined in the range of 0.2 - 0.6 (v/w). The total essential oils of studied taxa were described as 90.61 - 96.70 %. The main compounds of Achillea taxa used in this study determined as 1,8-cineole, endo-bornylacetate, piperitone, α-pinene, β-pinene, trans-chrysantenon, sabinene, cyclohexanol, 1,3,6-octatriene, β-bisaboleneepoksite, β-thujone, borneol, cis-sabinenehydrate and camphor. Chemotypes of Achillea taxa were described as 1,8-cineole in A. vermicularis, A. millefolium subsp. millefolium var. millefolium, A. coarctata and A. arabica (Sin: A. biebersteinii); 1,3-pentadien in A. filipendulina. phytochemical relationships within Achillea genus were discussed by obtained data.
