Özet (EN)

The research aims to examine the relationship between the social media participation of individuals interested in equestrian sports and their involvement levels and the phenomena of FoMO, jealousy and behavioral intention. In addition, the research analyzes the relationship between these terms and each other, and also explains the relationship between these terms and the demographic characteristics of individuals interested in equestrian sports. The study group consists of 295 people who follow the Instagram page of the Turkish Equestrian Federation. For the purpose of the study, certain sub-dimensions of the Social Media Engagement Scale, FoMO Scale, Envy Scale and Behavioral Intention Scale were used. As a result of the research, it was found that there was a significant difference in the FoMO and behavioral intentions of individuals interested in horse riding. It was also concluded that the FoMO levels and envy of these individuals had an effect on their behavioral intentions.
