Evaluation of some parameters in a biogas plant

The main purpose of this thesis is to evaluate some parameters in the operation of the biogas plant in Malatya province. For this purpose, pH, temperature, solid matter (SM) and organic solid matter (OSM) data of two digesters in the biogas plant and CH4, H2S and O2 data obtained from digesters were evaluated according to months. In addition, some elements (Be, Na, Al, K, Ca, Mo, Ba and B) were detected in the manures obtained from the biogas plant. According to the data obtained, pH values of digesters were between 7.63-7.72, temperature values were between 36.09-38.32 oC, SM values were between 5.40-6.40% and OSM values were between 62.27-66.50%. It was determined that the CH4 values obtained in the biogas plant were between 55.72-56.49%, the H2S value were between 1483.07-1593 ppm, and the O2 value were between 0.56-0.57%. In the fertilizers obtained from the biogas plant, the highest elemental concentration was 49067 mg/kg for calcium, and the lowest elemental concentration was 2.17 mg/kg for molybdenum. As a result, when the methane formation value and other parameters of the biogas plant were examined, it was determined that the plant was operated efficiently.
