Abstract (EN)

Increasing global warming concerns make more and more use of new energy sources mandatory. Although hydrocarbon fuels have been in the market for a long time, easy to access and manage, have reasonable prices, they emit greenhouse gases into the atmosphere; thus, they are seen as one of the main responsible effects of the global warming. In this thesis, the use of ammonia as an alternative to hydrocarbon fuels is modeled in gas turbine with a heat recovery steam generator and a Turbec T100 micro gas turbine with natural gas and methanol. EBSILON, GASEQ and GT-SUITE were used in the modeling of gas turbines. Energy, exergy and sustainability analyses for the gas turbine cycle with heat recovery steam generator, life cycle analysis, exergoenvironmental (EXEN) and exergoenviroeconomic (EXENEC) analyses, global warming potentials and environmental pollution costs for Turbec T100, were calculated
