Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted on scheduling the short-term production plan in a carpet production enterprise. The aim of the study is to reduce preparation times, use resources correctly and increase efficiency by scheduling jobs with different restrictions and durations assigned to carpet weaving looms. It has been stated that the change in characteristics such as the yarn used in carpet production, the stitch density of the carpet, and the pile height express the concept of quality, and that these qualities cannot be produced under the same conditions on every loom. Therefore, it is important to sort orders of different qualities in the most accurate way. In the study, a new mathematical model was developed for scheduling short-term production plans in carpet production enterprises. The developed models aim to produce a schedule that will reduce preparation times and use resources correctly, taking into account the constraints and durations of jobs assigned to carpet looms. The findings of the study show that the developed method is an effective method for scheduling short-term production plans in carpet production enterprises.
