Occupational health and safety risk evaluation and application work in a firm

The aim of the studies on the business health and the business security is to protect employees from industrial accidents and job illnesses, and provide them with an healthier work environment. Perhaps the most important indicator of the importance given to human health is compliance with Safety and Health regulations. A risk assessment is an important step in protecting your worker and your business continueties, as well as complying with the law. It helps you focus on th risks that really matter in your workplace – the ones with the potential to cause real harm. There are many different methodologies for risk assessment but the main concern that one of them do not cover all the process risk. Although, the law does not expect you to eliminate all risk , but you are required to protect people as far as 'reasonably practicable'. That is why we need an integrated assessment approach. In this context, a clearer identification of the possible risks of using more than one risk assessment method and preventive measures can be taken. This project includes occupation health and safety, protection of labor faults and occupation illnesses, risk evaluation method in application work three of these methods are chosen and fulfilled in firm. Implementation in Kuruoğlu and Foreign Trade Inc. business in the implementation phase, in lumber and panel sections, L-Type Matrix Method, Fault Tree Analysis Method and Bowtie Analysis of risks using the method considered these risks to minimize the measures were discussed in detail.
