Increasing production efficiency in a coal company

In this study, improvement works carried out at a private coal mining company starting with the decision making process throughout the entire implementation has been evaluated.The first the part of this document reveals the reduced efficiency and quality levels while use of technological recourses is lacking from the production process. Then as a result of the improvement works the increasing quality of produced coal and efficiency of production are examined. For example, before the improvement works take place in the facility, 900 kg m2 of ?sellable? coal can be produced per square meter, with subsequent improvement efforts, this figure is increased to the level of 4000 kg. As a result, the act of continuous improvement became a ?method? in the company.
