Evaluation of China's investments in Turkey in the context of infrastructure, energy and production within the scope of the One Belt One Road Project

This study extensively delves into crucial aspects of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) project such as its content, commercial volume, economic objectives, funding sources, designed projects, and global economic landscape. Additionally, it focuses on China's trade structure, its position within the global economy, reforms in trade policies, and its membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO). The research investigates trade relations between Turkey and China, the structure of foreign trade, direct foreign investments, and collaborations across various sectors. The findings encompass significant infrastructure and energy projects such as TurkStream, Mersin Port, Istanbul-Kapikule High-Speed Railway, Kars-Istanbul Railway, Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, Hunutlu Thermal Power Plant, Kalyon Solar Technologies Factory, and Kumport Port.
