Abstract (EN)
Personnel selection is the process of choosing individuals who match the necessary qualifications to perform a defined job in the best way. This study purposes a multiple criteria decision making process that supports group decision making for solving personnel selection problem, that allows using verbal statements in evaluation, that thinks decision makers? priority at the management hierarchy. This study, it is applied a Auto Components Industry for selecting Industrial Engineer and it is determined five candidates. Considering the criteria which can be evaluated subjectively and the hierarchical structure of those criteria, the Industrial Engineer selection problem seemed appropriate to be modelled as a fuzzy attribute decision making problem and a Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) based model is used. The Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process method is used to determine the weightings for evaluation criteria among decision makers. The subjectivity and vagueness in the alternatives selection process is dealt with by using fuzzy numbers for linguistic terms. Triangular fuzzy numbers are dealed with that includes in literature. Consistency of matrixes are controlled by considering Consistency Index (CI). A crisp overall performance value is obtained for each alternative based on the concept of Fuzzy Multiple Criteria Decision Making (FMCDM). Sensitivity of candidates? overall performance value to both decision makers? weights and weights of basis criteria is analyzed. Also, candidates are evaluated by Fuzzy TOPSIS method and the result obtained by FAHP is compared with results produced by Fuzzy TOPSIS.
