Abstract (EN)
Objective: In this study, it is aimed to compare the life history characters of women (daughter-mother-grandmother) who constitute three generations of an ancestry living in Fethiye district of Muğla province. It is aimed to reveal what kind of differences the life history characters have in the women who make up the three generations and what factors cause this difference. Method: In this study, mixed (qualitative-quantitative) research method was used. The reason for using the mixed method is Expansion. The research design is phenomenology. The research was carried out with 45 female participants living in Fethiye district of Muğla. It is a stratified purposeful sampling of the sampling type aimed at sampling selection. Quantitative data were analyzed with SPSS 18.0 program and qualitative data were analyzed with MAXQDA program. In the analysis of quantitative data, the Kruskal-Wallis Test, which is a nonparametric test in the analysis of the difference between the groups, was used to understand which groups the Post Hoc Test Tamhane's T2 analysis was. The significance level was accepted as p< 0.05. Results: The relationship between living environment and diet was investigated in the theory of life history. The participants that make up the three generations; age at menarche, age at marriage, age at which they had children, and number of children were compared. Participants' evaluation of the age at which they have a child, their views on their planning to have a child and birth control, the comparison of pregnancy periods, and their perspectives on the aging period were examined. Conclusion: As a result of the research, the life history of individuals forming three generations belonging to a pedigree affects their character, the environment they live in, their diet, educational status and genetic factors.
