Performance measurement with control diagrams in a production process

As a result of globalization and the highly competitive environment, maintaining the quality in production and service and improving their quality continuously have become essential for enterprises that want to survive. Statistical methods provide a wide range of uses in the process of quality maintenance as well as quality improvement. These statistical methods, which try to identify the variations in the process, facilitate the quality improvement activities and increase productivity at the same time. In this study, the concepts of quality and quality control, which are very important for the flow of the production process, have been explained in detail. In addition to these concepts, quality control tools were examined thoroughly. Additionally, Shewhart, CUSUM and EWMA quality control diagrams which are statistical quality control tools were included in the application part of the study.
