Abstract (EN)

Behavioral economics, unlike Neo-classical economics, which accepts individuals as rational; it has been suggested that there are emotional, cognitive and social effects on the basis of the behavior of individuals. In this thesis, the phenomenon of saving which has an important place in mainstream economics is tried to be explained with behavioral economics parameters. Questionnaires were applied by using face-to-face survey technique, dependent and independent variables were determined from the data and modeled by logistic regression analysis.
