This research aims to reveal the effects of differences in dietary habits, emotional eating behavior and body mass index on financial risk tolerance. The data to be used in the analysis of the research were obtained by simple random sampling method through questionnaire forms. The sample of the research consists of financial investors aged 18 and over living in Turkey or potential investors who can make financial investments. According to the results obtained from the analyzes in the study, it is seen that gender, marital status, age factor, the share allocated from the budget for investment, dietary habits, body mass index and emotional eating behavior differentiate individual investors' financial risk tolerances. In addition, there is a significant and positive relationship between the Mediterranean diet quality index and financial risk tolerance; significant and negative aspects of emotional eating behavior on financial risk tolerance; In parallel with the literature, it was determined that body mass index had a significant and positive effect on financial risk tolerance. Established with binomial logistic regression analysis; It was found that the model including gender, marital status, the share allocated from the budget to the investment, monthly income level, nutrition scores according to the Mediterranean diet quality index and body mass index was found to be significant. When gender, marital status, education level, age, income level, body mass index, emotional eating behavior and financial risk tolerance were included, it was determined by cluster analysis that the participants could be divided into four separate clusters. The limitations of the research, the implications of the results and suggestions for further studies are discussed.
