Abstract (EN)

Career planning is the process of using personal skills in the future and basically, it is based on the development of the ability to control the future by using the information people have acquired. This study aims to analyze Erasmus+ program in the cultural context with regards to individual career plannig. The research has a special and significant place due to its topic never being studied abroad before. In order to analyze the study survey method was applied. The survey was prepared within the context of the research and applied to 141 Erasmus+ students in Huelva University (Spain) in the academic year 2016/2017. The survey used in the research consists of demographic questions and propositions that have been proposed towards the assessment of Erasmus program with regards to individual career planning. According to answers given in the survey, the scale of the assessment of Erasmus program with regards to individual career planning was analyzed with confirmatory factor analysis. Kruskal Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests were applied to the non parametric analyses that has been made with SPSS 20.0 program. For the parametric analyses T-test was applied. The study finds the assessment of Erasmus+ program with regards to individual career planning shows significant change in the context of cultural dimensions. The answers to the survey shows a significant change in the context of power distance, individualism vs collectivism, and high vs low context culture. In the context of uncertainty avoidance, masculinity vs femininity and indulgence it was found that the assessment doesn't show a significant change.
