Analysis of the factors that directing individual investors to financial investments decision via behavioral finance approach: An example of Afyonkarahisar

It is not always possible to say that the individual investors trading in financial markets act rationally. Some determinants as psychological, personal factors and social interactions may have a strong impact on individuals investment decisions. Behavioral finance, gained significant importance in recent years, is a field that examining individual investor?s decisions besides the effects of these investor?s decisions over financial events when the rationality is limited. This thesis study aiming to examine of the factors on individual investor? decision making process in terms of behavioral finance tendencies. In conclusion of this research, it is observed that the individual investors in Afyonkarahisar strongly reflect behavioral finance?s tendencies.
