Abstract (EN)
This thesis is about compound parabolic solar collectors which are used solar energy applications. Flat collectors sometimes don?t enough for thermal applications. For this reason, concentration collectors are used high temprature applications. İn this thesis, mathematical model of compound parabolic concentration collectors, performance analisys and simulation were done. After desing the collector, test results and simulation results were compared for the verification of mathematical model. Result of comparison, the system is working correctly, but mathematical model and optical efficiency of designed system must be developed. There are few compound parabolic solar collector studies in literature. Also in most of this studies there are no simulation process. For this reason in this thesis, the comparison of simulation and test results are being important.
