Abstract (EN)
Ni/Al2O3-ZrO2, Ni-Pd/Al2O3-ZrO2, Ni-Pd/Al2O3-ZrO2-La2O3, Ni/Olivin and Ni/Sepiolit catalysts were synthesized using sol-gel or/and wet impregnation methods and tested on glycerol steam reforming and supercritical water gasification reactions. Catalysts were chracterized by XRF, TPR, XRD, XPS and SEM. Steam refroming of glycerol was carried out in fixed bed reactor at 600, 700, 800˚C for 4 hours. The most suitable catalyst was determined as Ni-Pd/Al2O3-ZrO2 and the highest hydrogen yield was reached at 800˚C for 4 hours as %73,84 by using Ni-Pd/Al2O3-ZrO2 catalyst. Supercritical water gasification of glucose was carried out with 1:20 (glucose:water ratio) and 10% catalyst at 400˚C for 30 and 60 min. The highest hydrogen yield (15,86 mol/kg glucose) was reached by using Ni-Pd/Al2O3-ZrO2-La2O3 catalyst at 400˚C for 1 hour.
