Abstract (EN)
In this study, pine sawdust was selected as a raw material. In the first part of this study, effects of various pyrolysis parameters (such as reaction time, pyrolysis temperature, heating rate, residence time and particle size) on fast pyrolysis of pine sawdust were investigated. Maximum bio-oil yield was obtained at reaction time of 5 min, pyrolysis temperature of 500 oC, heating rate of 300 oC/min, nitrogen flow rate of 400 cm3/min and the particle size range of 0.85>Dp>0.425 mm. At this conditions, maximum bio-oil yield was obtained as 42.09 %. In the second part of this study, catalytic pyrolysis of pine sawdust was performed to increase liquid quality. Moreover, effects of catalyst type, temperature on distribution and composition of products were investigated. Then, obtained pyrolysis oils were characterized by using various spectroscopic and chromatographic analyses techniques. Keywords: Pine Sawdust, Fast Pyrolysis, Catalytic Pyrolysis, Bio-oil.
