Abstract (EN)
Historical buildings continue to exist today as evidence of the experiences of the past. It is important to preserve historical buildings in order to preserve them for the future without losing their originality. It creates a regional tracking system by keeping track of the historical building, monitoring it at certain periods, detecting deteriorations in the historical building, making intervention decisions, and making early repairs. The aim of the thesis is to minimize losses in historical buildings with a regional tracking system. Within the scope of the thesis, Konya Alaaddin Hill was considered as the center and historical buildings with various functions within a 500 m area were analyzed by looking at the deterioration and repair records of the buildings from the archives of Konya Cultural Heritage Preservation Regional Board Directorate and Konya Foundations Regional Directorate. Deterioration and repair tables of 12 identified historical buildings were created over the years and inferences were made as a result of the analyses. In the light of the data obtained, the archive data of some of the 12 historical buildings that were monitored were lost, in some of them the repairs were repeated against deterioration, and in some of them, although decisions were made, they were not implemented for many years. Therefore, dividing historical buildings into regions, monitoring historical buildings divided into regions in certain periods, and making early interventions as a result of the deterioration seen will reduce the loss of historical buildings. Although it is known that there are organizations with different names created for this purpose in the world, this thesis will be a source for its implementation in Turkey. With the creation of a regional tracking system, historical buildings will become the greatest transmitter of the period with their traces before they are exhausted.
