Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out to determine the nematode fauna in some meadows and forest areas in Bolu province. For this purpose, a total of 90 soil samples were taken from the meadow and forest ecosystems in Abant, Atyaylası and Aladağ regions of Bolu province. After the identification of nematodes extracted from soil samples at genus level, their densities were determined. As a result of the research, 47 genus nematodes belonging to 26 families were found in 8 orders. In the research areas, the most common group was fungivorous nematode group, followed by bacterivorous, plant parasites, predator and omnivorous nematodes, respectively. Bacterivorous and fungivorous, nematodes were found in forest areas while plant parasites were more intense in meadow areas. The most common nematodes in the soil samples were Acrobeloides genus belonging to the bacterivorous group and followed by plant parasites such as Tylenchus, Helicothylenchus, Basiria, respectively. Basiria, one of the plant parasitic nematodes, and Acrobeloides, which belongs in bacterivorous nematodes weren't found in Abant region, and in Abant and Atyaylası regions, respectively. Besides, Achramodora, Cephalobus, Monhysteridae and Plectus in Abant region and Aphelenchoides, which belongs to fungivorous group were not detected in Abant and Atyaylası regions. Helicotylenchus and Paratylenchus in plant parasitic nematodes were not detected in meadow areas while Acrobeloides in the bacteriovous group were not found in forest areas. The average number of bacterivorous in Abant sub-region was found to be higher than Atyaylası, and the number of fungivorous, predator and omnivorous than in Aladağ region.
