As a result of scientific and technologic developments, the request of boron, one of the most important resorces of 21th century, and recently the usage of boron crops is increasing rapidly. Boron mine has strategically become an important resource of the world.On the other hand, beacuse of deficient scientific search about boron mine and despite of various speculations it has brought some doubt. While Turkey could not acquire adequate marketing share, because of deficiency of the technologic infrastructure, it could not transform it into refined products. Therefore, Turkey lets marketing share of this mine to the other countries and it could not provide the need of the domestic market.Turkey has a strategic location at the world boron marketing, since it has much more %74 world boron mine reserve. In order to make use of boron, being the most important mine of mining sector, as it deserves, it is a must that have a permanent and long-termed policy for a consistent structure.
