Abstract (EN)

"The customs, beliefs and practices living in the transitional periods in Bosnia and Herzegovina". It is possible to say that despite being a small country Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in the southwest of the European continent and the northwest of the Balkan peninsula, has a rich cultural heritage. During the history Bosnia and Herzegovina due to its location has been ruled by different powers and has become an important center where different nations passed or lived, and this interaction has led to many cultural exchanges. For these reasons, the culture of the country is rich in terms of customs, traditions and ceremonies. This study examines the different customs, ceremonies and traditions applied in the modern life of Bosnian Muslims living in the Central Bosnian Canton, starting from the historical period reaching the present day and shows them in their adapted forms. In addition, starting from the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the lifestyle of Bosnian Muslims living in this region has been tried to be described in general terms. As a matter of fact, the expression that best describes the summary of this study is to preserve the culture.
