Abstract (EN)
Fully drawn polyester filament yarn (FDY polyester) is used in the textile industry, especially in the home textile sector, due to its high gloss appearance. However, this yarn can not be painted while untwisted. The twisting process applied to achieve the dyeing process results in a reduction in the brightness of the yarn, additional financial and time expenditure for the operations. In case of dyeing as chips it is limited to the colors offered by the supplier company. In this study, dyeability of FDY Polyester with lipase enzyme and plasma technology was investigated. Thus, it is aimed to avoid the cost and time consumption and the decrease of brightness caused by the twisting process given to the yarn. Spectrophotometric measurements of the obtained results were performed. Partly successful in the result of the study. Abrage was observed in the yarns as a result of dyeing.
