In this study an experimental fluid level system is designed for different control applications. Fluid level is controlled by using PID and fuzzy logic control methods.At first the mathematical model of designed system is derived out. The system parameters which can not be derived by mathematical model were derived by system identification method. Several different signals were applied to the input of the system and the corresponding outputs were recorded. The system identification model were derived based on this test.PID control and fuzzy logic control methods were applied to the system. While using fuzzy control method rule base was formed by triangular membership functions. The results of both control methods were compared with each other. In fuzzy logic it was seen that when membership functions and rules were accurately adjusted successful results can be achieved.
