An aplication in the field of animal breeding in order to compare fuzzy TOPSİS and AHP methods

There are a lot of problems of a person or a foundation waiting for solution during their life. Problems occur in a different form according to the time and occasion. Therefore, the solutions of these problems are different from each other. To be identified of the problems enable the solution in a short time correct or acceptable tolerance. The deciding process, which made an adequate case for the options in a process of making decision, therefore there is a positive or negative results of every decision according to the one or more custom- made. Owing to the fact that making decision is the art of making choices, there would be differences between the results of decisions. The aim of the study is to creat a product or a service. It is an important subject whether it fulfills the requirements or not. As in the other field about production, in animal production economy and quality are important, too. The optimal definition is preferred in animal husbandry. For this purpose the data of lambs which are still kept within the scope of a study about raising sheep are taken into account. Lambs, which are taken into account have been sorted from 24 lambs best to worst correctly by the methods of Fuzzy TOPSIS and AHP with utilizing from the features of birth weight 6 months of birth weight, 12 months of birth weight, weaning weight, live weight gain, general appearance and quality of wool. It has been consulted from three decision-makers which is established by doctors of veterinary experts in the evaluation of decision criterias. The data obtained from assessments made by decision-makers is transformed triangular fuzzy numbers and used at the algorithm of the methods of Fuzzy TOPSIS and AHP. When the results of the study to be considered, there is a conclusion that the methods of Fuzzy TOPSIS and AHP, which had been found opportunity of usage in lots of fields, is a suitable method about the usage of making decision which is given about animal husbandry.
