Abstract (EN)

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation represents a major investment but the failure rates of these projects are very high. Recent studies show that more than three quarters of ERP projects were judged as unsuccessful by the implementing firms. Thus these types of projects are risky projects. This research is carried out in a global automotive corporation. The company has decided to initiate SAP/R3 software package as an ERP solution. The aim of this study is to identify the risk factors, evaluate the risk level and determine the most risky factors which will affect the success of the ERP implementation project. Risks are multidimensional and include imprecise data. Due to the nature of risk, in risk evaluation processes benefiting from the multi-attribute evaluation methods is more reliable. In order to determine the risk factors and risk levels weight, fuzzy extended analytic hierarchy process (FEAHP) is proposed. FEAHP is an effective multi-criteria decision making tool which can use the imprecise and vague data. Triangular fuzzy numbers are used by the experts to construct fuzzy pair wise comparison matrices. Keywords: Risk evaluation, Risk factors of ERP implementation, FEAHP, Fuzzy comparison, Triangular fuzzy numbers.
